Farm shops and farmer's markets

With their proud farming tradition and many green credentials, Devon and Cornwall are great places to look for really fresh seasonal produce grown on your doorstep. Whether you are looking for ingredients for a special meal, delicious ideas for picnics or just the best possible products you can get for your weekly shop, then the regular farmers’ markets offer a wide range of superb local produce, drink and wines for you to enjoy while on your holiday in Cornwall. Browse the stalls in the traditional market setting and discover the freshest of inspirational ingredients that you just wouldn't find on the supermarket shelf. In the gourmet haven that Cornwall has become, you'll find free-range eggs, organic vegetables and fresh fish sold from roadside stalls and stores countywide. Local farm shops sell exceptional quality, seasonal goods direct from small, local producers.
