The Bude Sea Pool is a beautiful, part natural, part man-made pool in the rocks at Summerleaze Beach, filled at high tide by the sea water. At its greatest length and width it is approx 90 metres long and 45 metres wide. There is no useage programme and the pool is available for all public use between 10am and 6pm conditions permitting, including inflatables and snorkelling. Water temperatures range from 11 degrees Celcius in April to 18 degrees in September

On a visit to the Tamar Otter Sanctuary you will see British and Asian Short Clawed Otters playing and being fed close at hand. There are Deer in a woodland enclosure and you can see Wallabies and Muntjac Deer roaming around the grounds. They have Owl aviaries, peacocks and a variety of waterfowl on the two lakes. There is also a woodland walk and a waterfall in our Old Quarry.
