Visiting the farm throughout the seasons

You can make the most of Cornwall and Devon throughout the year. The changing seasons can be savoured in the peace of the quieter months. In spring, the woods are carpeted with bluebells and daffodils and the fields are full of new lambs and calves. In Autumn, you can enjoy a refreshing walk along the Coastal Path that will clear your mind and recharge your batteries. Take pleasure in the changing colour of the trees, pristine quiet beaches – ideal for horse riding, and watching the tractors hard at work harvesting the crops in the fields. August and September offer prime blackberry picking and the hedgerows on Pencuke Farm have an abundence of blackberry bushes and crab apple trees waiting for guests to enjoy. In winter, wrap up warm for a brisk walk on the moor before settling down in front of a cosy open fire at one of the many fantastic pubs.

Three of our cottages and all of our yurts are furnished with a fantastic log burner and holidaymakers in England enjoy yurts all year round, even with half a foot of snow, and always stay toasty warm.
