This lovely farmhouse, dating back to the 17th century, provides very spacious accommodation for six, with plenty of room for additional cots. The cottage has many original features, such as beams, exposed flagstone floors and a large inglenook fireplace. At the front, the cottage enjoys its own private garden enclosed by an old stone wall.
At the end of the garden is parking for 2 cars and the garden can be enclosed using the double gates.
The holiday cottage benefits from a good-sized lounge with a flagstone floor and wood-burning stove set in an original Cornish granite inglenook - particularly cosy for winter evenings. The lounge is well equipped with a large flatscreen television and freeview, a DVD player and a radio/CD player. From the lounge you can really enjoy the cottage's private garden. It has two large windows, or you can walk straight out into the garden - ideal for summer BBQs. There is also a spacious dining room with a table for 6, which also looks out over the garden.
The beamed farmhouse-style kitchen has lovely stone walls and an old stone hearth. It is well equipped with everything you need for your stay including an electric range cooker, microwave, fridge, freezer and dishwasher. It also has a separate utility room with a washing machine and american style fridge freezer. There is a tumble dryer in our laundry room that is coin operated and available to all guests. A small porch welcomes you at the front of the property and provides really useful hallway storage.
Upstairs there are three large bedrooms. The main bedroom has a double bed and en-suite shower room with toilet. The second bedroom includes a double bed and shower room. The third beamed bedroom has two single beds. There is also a large family bathroom with bath, toilet and sink.
Apple Cottage also has its own enclosed private garden with garden furniture and a BBQ.
