Cambeak Shepherds Hut
The perfect glamping holiday in a shepherds hut with a hot tub and amazing views
Overview
Named after the cliff to the left of Crackington haven beach, Cambeak is our Shepherds hut for two..
As with our other hut, this was hand crafted on the farm and has been. built to the highest standards, with features such as oak parquet flooring, tiled bathroom, and is fully insulated and heated for year round habitation.
The dining area has two comfortable velvet chairs, and benefits from stunning views across the valley and to the sea, where you’ll usually see our Alpacas or sheep grazing, or peering over the fence. You can light the bio ethanol stove for added ambiance. In the same open plan area is the raised double bed, with a step up (this may not be suitable for those with mobility issues). The bed shares the same fantastic views through the french doors and is a great place to sit back and relax. Theres ultra fast Wi-Fi and a Sky glass TV too. Under the bed there are drawers and room to stash your luggage.
The kitchen is well equipped with sink, fridge, microwave/grill, toaster, kettle and portable induction hob.
The shower room has a luxurious feel, with beautiful tiles, spacious shower, sink, shaver socket, and fully plumbed in wc.
Outside is.a spacious, fenced garden area, leading directly onto the farm land, with spectacular views to the sea. Theres a decked area leading from the hut, with an outdoor dining set and hot tub for two. Theres also relaxed seating with a firepit and bbq. Its and exceptional spot to watch the sunset and being in an area of low light pollution is perfect for star gazing on a clear night.
You are able to park directly next to the hut during your stay, though we do also provide an EV charger in the main car park.

Things to know
The hut is located in the top corner of a large field, and is enclosed by a fence
The bed is raised and is not suitable for people with mobility issues
Two 7kwh EV chargers are available for all guests staying at the farm. There is a pay per KWH charge via the vend electric app
Up to 2 dogs are welcome, but must be fully house trained, under control at all times and have up to date flea treatment and vaccinations
A travel cot and high chair is available on request, but please bear in mind that a shepherds hut is a small space.
Check in is after 3pm and check out before 10am. We try to be flexible on this at quieter times of the year
Luxury Hand soap, body wash and shampoo are also provided
All bedding and linen and towels are supplied and are professionally cleaned to provide that hotel feel. Just bring your own beach towels
We provide two tea towels, washing up liquid, cleaning sponge, one kitchen roll and two toilet rolls. We do not provide further toilet rolls or kitchen towels
We provide a bottle of bioethanol for the fire. Further bottles can be purchased from our honesty shop
You have full access to the nearby guest barn, where there is a pay per use washing machine and dryer, games room and small honesty shop
Hot tub
The hot tub for two, with both seats facing the fantastic views and a great place to star gaze on a starry night.
Living area
The living area has been designed, so that there is room to sit down and eat, with the smart TV positioned so that you can watch it from the bed or the comfortable dining chairs. Wherever you are relaxing, you’ll get a great view of amazing scenery.
Note that the bed is raised, and may not be suitable for people with mobility issues.
If you want a bit more ambience, the bio-ethanol stove provides you with a real flame and a pleasant warmth.
Kitchen
The kitchen is well equipped and includes a sink, fridge, microwave/grill, kettle, toaster, movable induction hob, pot, pans, crockery, glassware, utensils and cutlery. There is not an oven or freezer.
Shower room
he shower room has beautiful ocre coloured. tiles. It’s fully plumbed in, offers a spacious shower, sink, wc and heated towel rail.
Outdoor space
The shepherds has an enclosed garden, with a lawned and decked area. Relaxed seating is set around a firepit, Theres a dining set on the decking, along with the hot tub and bbq.
